The Journal of the Nigerian Infectious Diseases Society (JNIDS) is a peer-reviewed biannual journal published by the Nigerian Infectious Diseases Society. JNIDS publishes clinical and laboratory-based articles on all aspects of infectious diseases, medical microbiology, and some aspects of public health.
The journal will consider original articles, reviews, reports of clinical trials, brief communications, case reports/case series, images, commentaries, and letter to the editor. Of particular interest are articles that highlight the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, laboratory investigations, treatment, prevention and control of infectious diseases endemic in under-resourced countries. Scientific reports on zoonotic infections are encouraged.
